A logo and identity system for a London-based marketing agency, focused on the restaurant and hospitality industry. Our simple solution is authoritative yet warm and nostalgic.
Too often, marketing agencies are enamored with the science of their process. Consequently, their brand can lack the Human touch. On the other hand, cooking is of the most Human processes.
For this marketing agency seeking restaurants as clients, we removed the hard-edged science of marketing, and delivered an approachable yet authoritative brand identity.
Earthy, aged tones and nostalgic fonts combine to create homeliness, umami and something vaguely nostalgic.
The logo is derived from the initials of the name, with the staffs of the letters styled like the handles of chef’s knives. R-M-R, when combined reads like a chef’s hat.
We’ve also echoed the triangles of the typeface in the logo, creating a visual link.
